Timber’s First Hunting Camp

Some great photos of “Timber” (litter name, Yankee, from the Patriots litter), submitted by David Lisle of Timber’s first time at hunting camp — the great Maine woods!

    David,

Just cruising through the photos and saw your pix…I have Gibson (Dandy) from the same litter as Timber (Yankee). In fact, if we’d gotten in line ahead of you, Yankee was our first choice from the pictures…congratulations on a great looking dog. By the way, I had Gibson up in Maine the first part of November. Didn’t really take him afield, but ran him around a bit. We did get into some grouse and woodcock with a buddy’s Brittany, and when we brought the birds back home, he got birdy as hell! So I think his nose will be great. I’ll be back there in early fall of 2010. My brother has a place in Wales, ME. Not sure where you are located, but if close, might be fun to get the little guys together next fall. Just a thought…

    Good luck with the pup,

    Best,

    Chris Anderson
